To accomplish this project, the sign with the gallery’s name, as well as any element that could suggest the visitor he was in an art gallery, were removed, and the space was transformed into a barbershop. The town hall was asked not to switch on the public illumination of the street and a smoke machine that wrapped the street in a cinema noir kind of atmosphere was installed. During the exhibition period, the door of the barbershop/gallery was kept closed, so that the viewer, from the outside, could only see a strange interior lit by a strong red light.
